K&N Air Filters are constructed with 4 to 6 layers of cotton gauze sandwiched between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. This unique design allows for high airflow while ensuring engine protection by effectively filtering contaminants. Unlike most other filter media, K&N Air Filters maintain a balance of airflow and filtration throughout their lifespan without sacrificing one for the other.
